The Hikvision iDS-7204HTHI-M1/XT is a 4-channel hybrid DVR supporting analog camera input up to 8MP at 15fps, with up to 8 additional IP channels for a mixed analog/network setup. Like its HUHI-series counterpart, it targets sites running higher-resolution analog cameras rather than standard 1080p models. AcuSense intelligence extends to non-AcuSense cameras connected to any analog channel -- the DVR itself applies human-detection filtering to reduce false alerts from animals or environmental motion, even on older or third-party analog cameras already installed on site. Facial recognition and advanced perimeter protection round out the smart feature set, alongside 4K/8MP encoding up to 15fps.
